An Attitude of Gratitude

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.  __ 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV)

One of the best ways to get from where you are to where you want to be is to be grateful! Actually, if you are grateful, if you use what you have, if you bless what you have, (to bless means to speak well of), if you don’t curse what God has already given you, (to curse means to speak evil of), that is when you will begin to make progress in life, in business, in ministry, and in whatever you do.

An attitude of gratitude will determine the level of altitude at which you are able to soar.  __ Tanyka Washington

No matter how bad the adversity, there is always something to thank God for! It could always be worst. If you are not grateful for what you have right now, why should God give you more to complain about, mistreat, or destroy?

We can recognize when someone is not grateful for what God blesses them with by the way they treat it. That includes people and things. How do you treat your spouse? Are you grateful for him or her? How do you treat your love ones? Are you grateful for them? How do you treat your friends? Are you grateful for your friends? Do you take care of what God has blessed you with?

Do you want a happier fulfilling life? Do you want more joy? Do you want to have more peace? Do you want to feel uplifted? Do you want more power in your life? Then develop an attitude of gratitude!

Prayer: Lord God, I ask you to help me to have an attitude of gratitude for all of your many blessing in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
