Just Do It!

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…,  __ Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NIV)

We need to give ourselves to what we are called to do. We need to put the time in that is needed to be a success for God. The Bible says, “Whatever He tells you to do, do it.”

His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”  __ John 2:5 (NKJV)

If we are obedient to God and do what He leads us to do, we will be successful. We have to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.  Whatever God tells us to do, we need to Just Do It!

No one has ever been successful sitting around doing nothing. If we don’t do anything, the Holy Spirit won’t have anything to help us with. The Holy Spirit is our Helper. Just step out and do what God is telling you to do, and the Holy Spirit will help you.  Give the Holy Spirit something to work with. He is waiting to help you.

God will bless whatever we set our hands to, but if we don’t set our hands to anything, there is nothing to bless. “Nothing from nothing leaves nothing.”

“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. __ Deuteronomy 28:8 (NKJV)

This verse lets us know that the Lord will command the blessing on whatever we set our hands to.

We have to be people of action. Action speaks louder than words. Do something! I have heard someone say, “If you take one step, God will take two.”

God is waiting on some of us to make a move, to take a step of faith. We need to put some corresponding actions with our faith. Faith moves God; not your tears, not your begging, not you feeling sorry for yourself, but faith accompanied by action moves God. God will honor your faith. We need to start believing, trusting, and having faith in God. We have to put action with our faith and Just Do It!

Sometimes we have to keep doing it and doing it and doing it, and if we don’t give up, we will see the fruit of our labor. We may struggle at first to become disciplined enough to do what we need to do, but eventually it will become easy. It will get easier and easier. All things are possible with God. So TAKE ACTION today and JUST DO IT!

Prayer: Help me Lord to do what you are leading me to do, when you tell me to do it, and how you tell me to do it. Help me to put action with my faith each day and allow you to work in my life. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
